✨There are some young men pursuing college studies or who’ve just graduated who behave like they have pedigree blood. But they don’t like breeding. They sneak into a rich neighbourhood on royal invitation as the man of the house is on an overseas business trip or simply busy vote hunting.
✨And unlike girls, the boys don’t have jewellery and ornaments or other valuables that they can easily forget in her palace. As such, they are hardly caught. They are self contained. They never imagine Alibaba’s 40th day will ever alive.
✨Let me remind them the advice from Bejamin Franklin, “In the affairs of this world men are saved, not by faith, but by the lack of it.”
✨Young man, some time in your life you will go on a journey. It will be the longest journey you will have ever taken. It is the journey to find yourself. Self discovery. When you find yourself, your eyes will open to realize the most dangerous dungeon is that other man’s house. You are lucky if you are still alive and reading this post.
✨Why lower your standards to that of a beggar when many good girls look up-to you for their future families? Why desire to short cut your way to a smart phone when you can work your way to a difference maker? Why live under the shadow of another man’s toil?
✨For how long can you sustain your intrusion? If you aren’t going all the way, why waste your youthful years? Good relationships are organic in nature. They mature with nurture. Be proud to build a future together with your bride. Work has no substitute.
✨A few remain eternal bachelors. They can’t commit till they buy that luxurious car. If you ‘sell’ stuff to a girl you’ll maintain that relationship through materiality. That means once you lose stuff, you lose her. ‘Sell’ yourself. Your value as a person is independent of what you have or don’t have. Your value is not your valuables. Don’t let stuff define you.
✨Most of the stable relationships on this planet were formed by a man and his bride who worked their way from scratch. They’ve grown and bonded together till they are literally one item. Others admire the fruits without studying the roots.
✨Neither wait for God to select for you a life partner. That has never happened since the beginning of time. If God cannot choose salvation for you, what makes you think He can choose a wife for you? He never did it even for Adam. He presented Eve to Adam. Adam chose her. All God does is to present to you opportunities – selection and nurture is your role.
✨That’s why Moses advised the young men of his day, “If you notice among the captives a beautiful woman and are attracted to her, you may take her as your wife – Deut 21:11.” We have enough of such in Sense 101 Life Club but we cannot choose for you lest you give us the responsibility of maintaining her for you.
